Vibrating Level Switch (For Liquids and Solids)
The electronics of the VF-LFV12 stimulate the piezo-electric crystals inside the tuning fork that make the fork tines vibrate at natural resonant frequencies in free air.
When the fork tips are immersed in the liquid, the vibration frequency of the fork decreases due to the density of the liquid.
This change in frequency is detected by the electronic circuit.
Thus, the presence of liquid is detected.
